Questions about contributing, how the corpus is protected, or naming the endowment in your will. For substantial gifts, please contact us before transferring anything.

Complaints and serious incidents
This route is open to contributors, to the communities we work with, and to anyone else affected by our activities. You do not need proof and you do not need to be certain; assessing a concern is our job, not yours.
Write to complaints@serendibendowment.org with what happened, when, and who was involved. Complaints are received and recorded by the board, and you will get an acknowledgement and an answer.
Serious incidents, including fraud, significant financial loss, and harm to individuals, are reported by the directors to the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission in accordance with its serious incident reporting requirements.
If a child or vulnerable person is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services first rather than waiting for us: 1929 for the National Child Protection Authority Childline or 119 for police in Sri Lanka, and 000 in Australia. Please tell us as well, so we can act on our side.
Raising a concern in good faith
Anyone who raises a complaint or reports an incident in good faith is protected from adverse action by the company, as required by the constitution.
If you are not satisfied with our response, or would prefer not to come to us, you can raise a concern with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, which regulates the company.
