Boilerplate

The Serendib Endowment Ltd (ABN 73 698 867 408) is an Australian not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee, operating a permanent charitable endowment fund for Sri Lanka. Contributions are invested rather than spent; the capital is preserved permanently and the investment returns pay for goods and supplies that relieve poverty and hardship, advance access to education, and provide relief after natural disasters and emergencies. Support is given almost entirely as goods rather than cash, bought locally in Sri Lanka and delivered directly, according to what each community needs. It was founded in 2026 by Sasenka Abeysooriya and Sajanie Tennekoon.

One line: The Serendib Endowment is an Australian permanent endowment fund for Sri Lanka, where donations are invested rather than spent and the returns fund giving every year.
